  5. I saw the movie at the midnight showing as well. :) I wore a lovely Elven dress, with long drapery sleeves, elf ears, and a mysterious cloak. ^_^ The movie was really good, even if it didn't follow the book very well. ;)

Oh my word, your costume turned out amazingly! It looks great!! And everyone else's costumes are fantastic too!

Do you know what your next cosplay will be? :)

    1. Sweet!! Oooh that is so neat; I wore a dress like that last year, to An Unexpected Journey... long, flowy Elvish dresses are really my very favorite kind of costume. :D This is true, this is true; I can see why they made the changes they did though. Don't get me wrong, I love the books TO DEATH, but as a movie, some parts just couldn't work very well (like the dwarves coming up in pairs to Beorn). And besides, this way we were surprised! ;)

Thank you so much!! :D Aren't they though??? I have seen sooooo many amazing versions of her costumes... (:

And yes!! I do! I've finally settled on Elsa from Disney's Frozen. (WHICH, btw, everyone needs to see. It is such a cute, sweet, awesome movie. :D) So, I'm planning on starting that sometime after Christmas...I'm getting a dress form, so I'm super excited about using it. :D :D

As for my costume for NEXT year's premiere of TABA, I'm pretty sure I'm going to make one of Eowyn's dresses, a version of the white one she wears when Aragorn and company are coming to Edoras, and she's standing with the wind blowing her hair? But I want to do it in a different color... I'm thinking dark blue-ish green. And yessss I know she's not in the Hobbit, but it's still Middle-earth ;) So yeah!

  7. This looks like so much fun!!! My sister, Lily, and I want to do this so bad. She has Fili's sword and I have Kili's sword so I think we're going to bring them to the theater Dec. 17th. Can I just say that we need a trailer like right now? =D

    1. It was SO much fun!! Literally one of my favorite memories. :D Ooohhh that's too awesome, and great idea! And like major cuteness, too (sisters/brothers Fili/Kili all that ;)).
Aaaaand YES. So badly. I mean, the teaser trailer was great, and so are all the posters they've been releasing... but guuuhhhh I need a at-least-2-minute-long trailer. With lots of epicness (but that's a given ;D).
